Robins identifies crucial attributes

Talking to the Rotherham Star, Robins, who completed the latest two signings just before the bank holiday weekend has identified certain credentials that all of his new signings must have. "I want players who are hungry to do something, hungry for a first-team place and who want to do well here.

"Players who have got energy and drive have been brought in, and we will need that. There are some younger players and they will want to get on a first-team stage and show what they can do."

Meanwhile, Robins has also spoken about the two new captures and believes they have met the criteria and is particualry pleased with the signing of Danny Harrison from Tranmere. "Talking to them when we were signing them, I can see that they want to come here and are keen to do well.

"He has been at Tranmere since he was a boy and it's a big thing uprooting and going elsewhere when it might have been more tempting to stay put. He's a combative lad who has good energy levels. He'll compete and he can operate in different roles." said the Rotherham boss.
