"The positive from today's game is that we have moved above Grimsby. The conditions contributed to a poor game but we got the result and when you play poorly and still win you must be doing something right." Robbo told the clubs official website.

"The win today was an important psychological boost because we are now above Grimsby and no longer third from bottom which is where we have been all season."
Ian Sharps saw a red card for picking up 2 yellows, Robbo spoke about what the referee told him; "I went in too see the referee and he said that their player went to pick the ball up but Ian Sharps kicked it away and he felt that it warranted a booking, I felt it was petty but he has made his decision and it will mean that he misses the next game and there is nothing we can do."
Dale Tonge scored his first ever league goal after just 4 minutes and earned praise from the boss; "Dale has done well since coming back into the team and he deserved the goal. It was good build up play and then an excellent finish."
"Reuben has had a sickness bug which ruled him out today and we need to be careful about when we bring him back because we don't want other members of the squad getting it."

With Steven Cann ruled out with a dislocated finger, Robin is pleased to have secured the services of Sheffield United's Jamie Annerson for a second time; "I am pleased to have Jamie back and he will give us some cover because Andy Warrington picked up a knock today so we need to have a look at that, Steven Cann has dislocated a finger and we have been told that he can play with a splint but with Jamie here he offers good cover."
