Henderson spent nearly 3 months on loan at the Millers but had a torrid time in front of goal, scoring just one goal and missing countless sitters. However when he was played down the wing his form was better and fans were split wether or not the club should offer him a contract.

Millers boss Mark Robins has made contact with Henderson who went back to Norwich after the Millers final game and was told there was no future for him at Carrow Rd.

However it seems that the 22 year old is keeping his options open in the hope of playing at a higher level next season.

"We've spoken, he enjoyed his time here but he wants to keep his options open just now and I can understand that and respect it, It is not necessarily closed but we have got other irons in the fire and we are pursuing these, that's what happens." Mark Robins told todays Rotherham Star.

As reported last night on MillersMAD, Robins looks set to bring in Matlock Town striker Tom Cahill, more news on that as it happens.
