After overseeing Stanley's return to the Football League after 44 years absence, he was delighted to sign for the Millers. He told www.themillers.co.uk: "I am delighted to be joining Rotherham United and I hope I can play a major part in helping them to climb back to League One at the first attempt.
"I have been particularly impressed by the pedigree of the manager and his staff so I had no hesitation in agreeing to come here.
"I have also been very impressed by the superb pitch and that's a big factor in trying to play good football.
"I know all about the requirements of playing in League Two as I played in every game in that division last season and from what I know I feel sure that Rotherham can have a big impact."
"I am really looking forward to the challenge and I am delighted to be here."
All at MAD wish Andy the best of luck in his Millers career.
