Defender Liam Ridehalgh was Steve Evans first loan signing of deadline day, and he's working on bringing in more additions.

The left sided Huddersfield defender has spent this season on loan with Chesterfield and joins the Millers on an emergency loan until January 12th to cover for injuries, with Josh Morris returning to Blackburn to have stitches on his knee injury.

Evans told the clubs official site earlier: “It’s no hidden secret that I tried to sign Liam earlier in the season, but for one reason or another we couldn’t get it done at that time.

"The lad has recently been at Chesterfield where it has to be said he has been outstanding and when I got news that he was returning to Huddersfield, I moved quickly to bring the boy in.”

Ridehalgh is awaiting permission to play in the FA Cup and has been given squad number 33. His stats are below.
