Alex Revell talks to the Advertiser of his hopes of another good FA Cup win as the Millers face Notts County at the New York Stadium tomorrow.

Looking back at previous FA Cup games in his career, Rev's said; “When I was at Southend we got to the third round and drew 1-1 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. At Orient we beat both Norwich and Swansea away and drew with Arsenal at home and then lost the replay 5-0. That wasn't so good because I gave away a penalty that day but I've got some great memories from the FA Cup and no matter what anyone says, it is still the dream competition, especially for we lower league clubs."

“We want to get the big guns and go and test ourselves and play in the big stadiums and experience what it's all about. Also, with our new stadium, we'd like to get a tie to really fill the place and christen its first year with a really big team." he added.

“We beat Stevenage in the last round and we were excellent that day and really deserved to win. Notts County is going to be another massive test and we need to raise ourselves again.”

Rev's reviewed his season so far, and he's enjoying it; "You can only just keep training hard and when you get the chance to play, take it. There was a bit of interest (Crawley) at the start of the season but I wanted to stay because I really believe that we have got a great team here and that we are going to go up." he said.

“My family is settled and I love being up here and I want to be a part of what we're building. I didn't go and now I'm hopefully paying back the gaffer and myself with the way I am playing. I need to improve my goals tally but like the gaffer says, if you keep working hard then you get your rewards in football and I'm trying to do that.” he added
