Reubens worth more than £100k - Robins

Rumours have been rife all summer that the 20 year old 19 goal top scorer is the subject of transfer bids, today Mark Robins confirms that he's had a bid but doesnt want to lose Reid.

"MK Dons made a written £100,000 bid for Reuben but we value him much higher. The lad is still only 20 and he's got massive potential and was at the top of the League Two scoring charts for a long period last season. Goal scorers are hard to come by."

"Reuben is an asset to the club. He needs to be recognised for what he's done and that's why we offered him a one - year extension to his current two-year deal on improved terms. That deal is still on the table and we hope he signs it. I expect to see him when we report back for pre-season training next month."

Robbo also confirmed that he has trialists coming in for pre-season with the Millers; "The squad is starting to take shape. The transfer deadline isn't until the end of August so there's no rush to bring anyone else in. It's a fluid situation and we'll have a triallist forward from Stoke City in with us during pre-season who I want to take a look at."
