Returns & Departures as loan's end

Firstly, Richard Brindley has returned from Scunthorpe United where he made 3 appearances for the Iron.

Young goalkeeper Tony Thompson has signed an extended contract to stay with the Millers until the end of the season, however fellow youngsters Mitch Rose and Nicky Walker have both left the club,  with Nicky Walker joining Boston United and scoring on his debut on New years day.

Emmanuel Ledesma has returned to Middlesborough, he wasn't cleared to play in tomorrows FA Cup 3rd round game against Bournemouth anyway, so it was decided that the 26 year old would return to the reverside.

Evans spoke to themillers.co.uk and sang Lesedma's praises;“I’d like to express sincere thanks for Emmanuel who has been fantastic during his time with the Millers, He conducts himself in a professional manner both on and off the pitch and he’s had a huge impact on the squad with his expressive playing style and infectious character. He has enjoyed his time with the Millers and talks are ongoing between the two clubs to discuss a potential return for Manu.” Evans said.

Goalkeeper Scott Loach has returned to the club after spending a spell at League 2 Bury.

Steve Evans has also ruled out a return for striker Lucciano Becchio after his recovery from injury.
