The 21 year old has been allowed to join Carlisle with game time with the Millers looking hard to come by, but that doesnt mean that Warney doesnt rate him

“Selfishly I should keep him because he could be my local one on the bench, I really like him, my opinion is what it is, he has played in the friendlies and done well, he has been in the top two strikers in pre-season really."

“But for him, developing him, he is our player, if he goes and has a good four months at Carlisle and comes back in January and scores me six goals then happy days."

“He is at the time now where he has been really patient bless him and the fact that I didn’t put him on the bench at Wembley kills me.

“I didn’t put him on the bench, we’ve gone up a league, I have brought more players in, it’s going to be difficult to get game time. I am really pleased with him, I just hope it goes well for him.”
