As we've been featuring all week on MillersMAD, the 20 year-old handed in his written transfer request and was placed on the list following a board meeting.

Of last seasons 19 goal striker, Robins told the Star: "We'll wait and see if anybody matches our valuation and if they do then we'll take it from there.

"Until then, he's our player and he'll work towards getting himself in the team and getting himself fit.

"If he wants to prove to people that he's worth his salt then he has to do the right thing by his employers, which is us."

As the players returned to pre-season training yesterday, Robins added: "Now it's time for the hard work. We'll assess the players on a daily basis and get them as fit as we can for the season ahead."

Robins confirmed on Wednesday that the only concrete bid received for Reid so far was the offer from MK Dons which was subsequently rebuffed.
