Race Night Proves A Success

And that's not the end of matters, as although last night's event was only confirmed a few days beforehand, there's another arranged especially for this coming Tuesday evening.

Everyone is welcome, young and old, to help raise cash for the Millers. Last night each race was a minimum of a pound per bet, with two pound for a winner which all goes straight into the bucket to save the Millers. So rather than just donating straight into the funds, it's designed to make the evening a bit of fun, have a few beers too, play a bit of pool and a chat about the beautiful game...no not pool, the footy of course!

There's also the chance to have a go on the football scratchcard, usually two of them are held, 50p per team as many goes as you like until the card is full, the winner stands to make around £15. The money from one of the cards goes straight into the donation bucket.

We've moved the date to try and accomodate everybody (in light of the England game on the Wednesday too) so apologies for those who can't make Tuesday, but if you are at a loose end get yourselves down for a few beers and an orient express to finish off the evening!

First race is at 8pm.
