Quiet on the striker front - for the moment

Knill has made no secret of his desire to bring in not one, but two forwards - one of which maybe about to pen a deal at Millmoor tomorrow if he receives the go ahead.

His meeting with chairman Denis Coleman was set to outline potential investment in the squad, but we're still pretty much in the dark as to how much cash, if any, the manager will have for a permanent signing.

The strong story is that Darryl Duffy (right), out of favour at Hull City until recently, may be about to pen a loan deal but we have yet to hear anything concrete.

The 22 year-old Scot has scored 50 goals in 93 career appearances after starting his career at Rangers as a trainee then moving to Falkirk where he made his name.

He recently scored five goals in ten games on loan at Hartlepool before Christmas and has represented his county at youth and U21 level.

However with the Tigers letting Criag Fagan sign for Derby yesterday, they may see Duffy in their long term plans.

The speculation continues on the MillersMAD messageboards and we are, as always, seeking to keep you lot bang upto date with the latest transfer news, so keep it MAD.
