Pope gives Thornber selection poser

The Milelrs face Morecambe tomorrow and as already featured earlier today, are looking at a clean bill of health other than absentee Micky Cummins.

Thornber has had his first full weeks training with the players and was boosted by good news as striker Tom Pope came through training yesterday.

He told the clubs official website: "We have one or two selection issues,

"Tom Pope trained yesterday which is a great bonus for us because initially we thought that he might be out for two or three months. We will have a look at him today and see how well he has come through. Micky Cummins has also trained so we had 23 out of 23 all training so I might have a selection headache but it is a nice dilemma to have."

Tomorrow is likely to come too early for Cummins, still recovering from a damaged shoulder.

"Looking at the team from last Saturday the lads who finished the game would be disappointed if they were left out of the side. I will have a look at things and then make a decision," added Thornber.
