As the Millers prepare to meet with their creditors over the proposed Voluntary Creditors Agreement which could see the club lose its debts if agreed, or should god forbid it fail see the club facing liquidation, Boss Alan Knill has been speaking to Radio Sheffield about next season, and the 10 point deduction.

"It was either start 10 points down or go down a division and with effort that the players had put in, we all thought that it was'nt worth that. So we'll start 10 points down but we know that we could have easily picked up 10 points somewhere along the line this year."

"When I mentioned it to the players, I thought it was a good challenge for us, because the team to be fair has been through a lot of challenges and come out the other side and I thought yes, it was a good challenge for me and the players and they were suprisingly they were pretty positive about it all.

It has also been mentioned on the messageboards that Knill will announce his retained list tomorrow, it is also rumoured that Andy Monkhouse and Phil Gilchrist will not be offered new contracts, while Scott Minto will be retiring from the game.
