Hoskins rejected a new treble your wages contract offered by the club last week, thus ensuring plenty of extra talk of a possible transfer away from Millmoor either in January or come the end of the season.
However, teammate Ritchie Partridge is hoping that Hoskins will agree a deal and put to bed any transfer talk.
Partridge told TeamTalk.com: "Like everyone else at the club, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that Will signs a new deal and stays at the club.
"He's a great lad and is at a great place to keep learning his trade and playing regular first-team football. Hopefully it will all get sorted and he'll agree a new contract." he added.
