The 22 year old former England youth international joined the Millers on Monday after being released by Liverpool, today he spoke about his move to Millmoor to the Rotherham Star.

Liverpool loaned Otsi out to Crewe earlier last season, the Chesire club wanted to make the move permanant but Jon didnt want to give up on his Liverpool dream.."I probably stayed at Liverpool at couple of years too long but I suppose there was some emotion involved in that," he admits. "After all, I'm mad on them, but I want to be a footballer more than I want to be a Liverpool player who's not really involved.

Jon did'nt have any reservations about signing with us, "Mick really impressed me with his honesty. That's not something every manager I've ever come across has had but he's someone you immediately know you want to play for. He's ambitious and he wants to get Rotherham back up. That really sold the place to me because he wants to build something here. This was a big thing for me because it's the first permanent move I've ever had, but it feels right already."

"Actually, League One is the only division I've not played in, but I'm not worried because I've got confidence in what I can do."

This looks like a very good signing, MillersMad wish'es him all the best..
