Goalkeepers:

Kevin Pool.
Date of Birth: 27/7/1963.
At 46 yr's old he started this season as the oldest player in League Two. Signed as a stop gap keeper at the start of the 2006/07 season by Nigel Clough, when another deal for a keeper on loan had fell through. Kevin went on to be a regular in that first season culminating as Player of the season. Kevin's former clubs include, Northampton, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Leicester City, Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers and Derby County.

Artur Krysiak.
Date of Birth: 11/08/1989.
The Polish international joined the Brewers on a one month loan deal in August 2009 from Birmingham City, the loan has now been extended to January. Artur has been the main man between the sticks this season, with 19 appearnces. Artur has missed the last two matches with a hip injury, back in training he is now available to play against the Millers.

Shane Redmond.
Date of Birth: 23/03/1989.
On loan from Nottingham Forest, Redmond is a Northern Ireland U21 player. The hip Injury to Krysiak has seen Shane in goal for the last two games for the Badgers, both ending in defeat. With Krysiak now fit, Shane will have to wait and see if he holds his place to face the Millers.

Defenders:

Paul Boertien.
Date of Birth: 20/1/1979.
Paul began his career at Carlisle United, and after only 17 appearances Derby County paid £250,000 for his services.Paul spent 8 years at Pride Park. Paul became manager Paul Peschisolido's first signing when he took the reins at Burton. Boertien played 39 times last season for Walsall. A new management team felt he was not needed and was released at the end of the season. Played 15 games this season.

Tony James.
Date of Birth: 9/10/1978.
Tony is a very experienced player, he started his career at West Brom, but made his biggest impact when dropping out of the League to play for Hereford, when they were a Conference side. Tony won Player of the Year twice in 2002/03 and 2003/03 with the Bulls. He has spent most of his career as a non-league player. Played 19 games this season.

Ryan Austin.
Date of Birth: 15/11/1984.
Ryan plays mainly as a centre-half, but is just as comfortable as a full-back. Burton signed him on loan from Crewe in 2004; the move was later made permanent. Ryan has plenty of pace, and coupled with his aerial ability has made him a popular player. Played 22 games this season.

Andy Corbett.
Date of Birth: 20/02/1982.
Burton signed Andy from Nuneaton Borough in 2003. Previously he had made 7 Football League appearances for Kidderminster Harriers. In 2004/05 he was voted Player of the Year. A right-back who has also played on the wing, Andy is regarded as one of the fittest players in the squad. Played 12 games this season.

Arron Webster.
Date of Birth: 19/12/1980.
450 appearances make Arron the clubs second longest serving player. Arron started out as a left-winger, under Nigel Clough's reign he was converted to one of the best left-back's out of the football league. He was awarded a testimonial last season, with a game against Derby County, just three days after Burton's promotion to the Football League

Darren Stride.
Date of Birth: 28/09/1975.
Darren is the clubs longest serving player, with approaching 650 games and 120 goals. Never having played for any other club than the Brewer's, he has played in every position for the club, including goalkeeper twice, and saved a penalty! Injury has restricted his appearances over the last two seasons. Played 2 games this season. Darren is expected to step into the team, as a replacement for the suspended Guy Branston.

Guy Branston. Team Captain.
Date of Birth: 09/01/1979.
Needs no introduction to Millers fans, and saves me some typing as he is suspended and won't face the Millers. Branston collected his fifth booking of the season in the 2-0 home defeat by Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night and will serve a one-match suspension. Played 21 games this season.

Midfield:

John Macgrath.
Date of Birth: 27/03/1980.
John was signed by Nigel Clough from Tamworth in the summer of 2007, and went on to forge a strong partnership in the middle of the park with Michael Simpson, making him Player of the Year in 2007/08. He started his Career with Aston Villa, and played in Europe for the Villa. John later spent time on loan at a number of clubs which included Doncaster Rovers. Played 20 games this season.

Michael Simpson.
Date of Birth: 28/02/1974.
Michael has toted up over 400 league appearances, with Notts County, Wycombe Wanderers, Plymouth angd Leyton Orient. Wycombe was the club who he served the most of those appearances with (300) which included him being part of the team that reached the F.A. Cup semi-finals in 2001. Michael helped Leyton Orient to promotion to League One. He joined Albion in 2007, and has formed a good midfield understanding with John Macgrath. Played 19 games this season.

Kieron Cadogan.

Date of Birth: 03/08/1990
Kieron came on a month's loan from Crystal Place in November. A product of Palaces academy, he has made four appearances as substitute for Palaces first team, coming off the bench to score in his debut against Coventry City. He comes highly recommended by Neil Warnock. Played 3 times this season.

Jacques Maghoma.
Date of Birth: 23/10/1987.
Born in Lubumbashi in the Congo, he has dual citizenship between the country of his birth and England. Jacques is a former Tottenham Hotspur player with whom he signed schoolboy forms in 2003/04, he went on to play in the Spurs reserve Championship winning team in 2005/06. Released by Spurs at the end of last season, he impressed in a trial with Burton, and was rewarded with a two year contract. Played 11 games this season.

Jimmy Philips.
Date of Birth: 20/09/1989.
Jimmy
was brought through the ranks at Stoke, his home town club, from a junior to earning a one year contract in 2008, however he was relesead at the end of last season, and Paul Peschisolido won the race to sign him and bring him to Burton. Played 15 times this season.

Russell Penn.
Date of Birth: 08/11/1985.
Penn became the Brewer's record signing when Paul
Peschisolido fetched him from Kidderminster Harriers. Russell made over 170 appearnces for the Harriers scoring 26 goals over a four year period. Played 13 games this season.

Strikers:

Richard Walker.
Date of Birth: 08/11/1977.
Richard made his league debut with Aston Villa in 1997, he played just 8 games for Villa scoring twice. However a couple of productive move on loan to Cambridge United and Wycombe, led Blackpool to pay £50,000 for him in 2001, spending three years at Bloomfield Rd before moving on to Bristol Rovers in 2004. Richard made 176 appearances at Rovers scoring 62 goals. He spent last season on loan at Shrewsbury, signing for Burton in the summer of 2009. Played 13 games this season.

Shaun Harrad.
Date of Birth: 11/12/1984.
Shaun finished last season as Burton's joint top scorer with 17 goals, the same number he finished with the season before. He was signed in the summer 0f 2005, after being released by Notts County for who he made just 19 appearances for in three years. A hard working player and a consistent goal scorer, just the sort most teams hope for in a striker. Played 16 games this season.

MillersMAD One to Watch

Greg Pearson.


Date of Birth: 03/04/1985.
Greg signed a two year deal for Albion in 2008 from Bishops Stortford. Greg had scored 42 goals in 67 appearances at Bishops Stortford. He scored on his debut for Albion, and scored 20 goals making him top scorer. Gregg is combing his football career with his university studies in physiotherapy. Played 12 games this season.

Serge Makafo.
Date of Birth: 22/10/1986.
Serge is a striker with electric pace who joined the Brewers on loan from Grays Athletic in October. He started his career with MK Dons but made only two appearances before dropping down to non-league football. Serge has had spells at Kettering Town, Maidenhead United, Halesowen Town, Potters Bar Town and Croydon Athletic before joining Grays in August 2009. He was released after just one substitute appearance and joined the Brewers on trial.

Steve Kabba.
Date of Birth: 07/03/1981.
Steve is a
vastly experienced striker who began his career with Crystal Palace making 10 appearances for the Eagles but spent much of his time away from Selhurst Park on loan with Southend United, Luton Town and Grimsby Town. Steve became a cult hero for the Mariners scoring six times in 14 games and looked to be heading to Blundell Park on a permanent deal before Sheffield United stepped in with a £250,000 bid. Steve then went on to play in the Premier League for Sheff Utd, then moved on to Watford who paid £500,000 for him. Injuries restricted his appearances and he had loan spells at Oldham Athletic and Blackpool before being released by the Hornets at the end of the 2008/09 season. Steve Joined Brentford in August, but after being unable to establish himself as a regular, he joined Albion on loan in November from Brentford
