Martin Butler to the Pigs, Pollitt to Preston / Blades or Macca to Scunny or Gillingham. Take your pick of rumours, most broadcast by 'In the Know' Rotherham fans on Football Heaven and again the Bluebell Wood hospice will be £50 better off courtesy of Paul!!

But at the end of the day it's two in and none out for the Millers on what has been a quiet deadline day throughout the league.

2 clubs came in for Michael Proctor on loan but both were turned down as Proc wants to fight for his place in the Millers team.

As reported yesterday, Michael Keane completed his transfer to the Millers, and Tony Thorpe signed in on loan and Alan Knill is pleased to have signed the 31 year old striker.

"We spoke to his agent and put over our point of view that if he came he would be playing, and he would have chances to score and play with Butler or one of the others. His agent did tell us that other clubs was in for him (Cardiff). I spoke to Tony and he decided that he wanted to come here and I'm greatful for that." Knill told Radio Sheffield.
