Decided against appeal
The club have told the Rotherham Advertiser that it is unlikely to appeal against the Football Leagues 10 point punishment for entering a CVA.

With debts running at nearly £4million, the club entered into that CVA last week and successfully got the 75% of the debt to agree to take payment of 1p in the pound.

The club were looking at appealing against the FL ruling on the basis that it was the ITV Digital case that made the club insolvant, however the cost of the appeal made the club back down and take the 10 point punishment for next season.

Any appeal would need £5,000 depositing with the FL, before any hearing could take place AND the clubs books would need looking at by an independant accountant which the club would have to pay for.

The overall cost of legal help of the appeal has made the club think again.
