JCR, in happier days.
The former Millers winger, Campbell-Ryce is in the Jamaica squad to face England at Old Trafford on Saturday - Just !!!. The 23 year old was on the bench as Jamaica got beat by Ghana on Saturday but JCR along with Jason Euell and Marlon King have been naughty boys and broke the team curfew.

All three were told they would be banished from the squad and King was sent home, JCR and Euell have appealled and been allowed to stay in the squad but have been heavily fined.

Talking to the Rotherham Star, Jamal said; "It would be great to play against England and a great stage on which to perform, It's great just to be playing again after not figuring much last season although that was out of my hands," he said referring to the transfer dispute between us and Southend.

Former Millers striker Deon Judas Burton has been called up as Kings replacement.

Signing on?
Meanwhile former boss Ronnie Moore has been sacked at Oldham along with his right hand man John Breckin.

Moore had only been in charge at boundary park for 15 months, and had the club in with a chance off the play offs until the last couple of weeks when they tailed off badly.

Speaking to Oldhams official site Simon Corney explained that season ticket sales were one of the reasons as to why Moore was shown the door.

"Clearly, a lot of fans had not taken to him and season ticket sales have been very slow. People seem to think we have vast sums of money but, unfortunately, that is not the case. At the end of the day it was a financial decision."

Mr. Corney added: "It wasn't a pleasant job telling Ronnie and he was shocked.
There is no doubt that he had some unbelievable injury problems throughout last season.

Moore has been linked with the vacant position at Tranmere, but probably not Ipswich.....
