Speaking to the Advertiser, Commercial director Steve Coakley was happy to have got the shirts on sale before the season-end and summer holidays, unlike previous seasons/
"The club have invested heavily to ensure that the new shirts have arrived by air in time for the weekend. We are therefore delighted that despite the recent air traffic problems we have been able to deliver the new shirts on time." he said.
Meanwhile chairman Tony Stewart praised the fans support over the season and hopes for a big finale to the normal season; "The support has been magnificent all season and it would be fantastic if we could make out last home game of the regular campaign one to remember by everyone in the crowd wearing their red shirt with pride, making plenty of noise, and filling the main stand at Don Valley." he said.
