New player let down for Millers

Not Coming
Despite Ronnie wanting some movement on the player's, its looking as if the Millers will face Cardiff this Saturday with no new players on the books.

Ronnie had been persuing Reading pair Lloyd Owusu and former Miller Shaun Goater, but an injury to Reading striker Nicky Forster has meant that Reading are now unwilling to let either of them come to Millmoor on loan just yet.

Richie Partridge
Liverpool's Richie Partridge is also unlikely to come according to comments from his agent Neil Sang, although an official responce has not been recieved.

Sang said: "Rotherham are a progressive club with a good manager but Richie's got nothing to prove at that level. I've heard Nottingham Forest are also interested and I would expect Liverpool will be fine with whatever he decides.
"But perhaps a team like West Ham might be better for Richie - simply because of Rotherham's current plight."

Obviously this is agent talk, but its not looking great, which is a shame as surely first team football at Rotherham has to be better than reserve games anywhere!?

Ronnie told the Rotherham Star "We are just having no luck trying to get a striker in. We were talking to Reading about getting Shaun Goater, then they lost their first-choice striker, Forster, through injury and Shaun will be playing for them now. We also wanted Lloyd Owusu but they need him on their bench now."
