After losing the services off long standing CEO Phil Henson a week ago, the new chairman Dennis Coleman has revealed that the new board have been offered help from various local clubs and some as far away as Grenta.

Speaking to the Star, Coleman said "We are the new boys on the block and we have found people being very supportive so far, We have a lot to learn, we want to learn and clubs have invited us to see how they do things and how we might learn from them. It's excellent really and a great help.

"In addition to the local clubs offering support, others such as Huddersfield and even Gretna have been in touch - we have a contact at Charlton and we shall be in touch with these clubs with views to a visit to look at their set-ups and see how they operate.

Picking up tips.
"If we can only pick up one small thing from each of them that could benefit this football club, then that will be good and to our advantage. There is so much for us to learn about running a club and how we can take Rotherham forward and there are so many aspects to it,"

Coleman remined fans that the various fundraising events must carry on happening to help the club, "Just because the club has been saved, it doesn't mean the problems have gone away, It is absolutely imperative that the fund-raising events continue as we sort things out down here. There might be a feeling among some that it's ok because the club is continuing but the fund-raising events have to continue - it's a must." Coleman added.
