Murdock limped out of the 2-0 defeat at Cheltenham before Christmas after just four minutes with a groin problem, but is confident he'll be returning to action sooner rather than later after stepping up work in the gym.

He told www.themillers.co.uk: "The injury is not too bad and I am hoping to be back training on Monday week, the injury has been steadily improving.

"I have been in the gym nearly everyday. This time I have been doing more specific rehab work on the injury than last time. Hopefully I can come back to full fitness and touch wood that will remain the case.

"You have to be philosophical about the injury; there is nothing I can do about it. Ideally I don't want to be injured and I want to play, especially at this stage but you just have to get on with it and try to do what the physio tells you to do, to get back as quickly as possible."

MillersMAD as always wish Colin a speedy recovery
