After a discussion, The EFL have changed the rules on substitutes for the Championship..
From this season, matchday squads will be able to name 9 subs... an increase from the 7 already ( anybody remember just having 2??
But despite nearly having a full team on the subs bench to choose from, the league are sticking with only being able to use 5 of the 9.
Clubs in League 1 and 2, will stay as they were, usinging 5 subs from 7 named in the squad.
