More Palace players to come!

Speaking to the Tizer this week Mark Robins said: "I've got to thank Neil Warnock for giving us the opportunity to look at Simon.

"He's very raw but I can see something in him. You can see he's very, very quick and I think he's a lot to offer.

"There will be others from
Crystal Palace that we will be taking a look at in the not too distant future."

"He played for Bournemouth last Wednesday and then drove four hours up here because he wants to come and have a go. He's keen to do well and he's a bright lad.

"He trained with us for a couple of days and did really well and then Drewe Broughton's suspension gave me the chance to give him his debut against
Gillingham last weekend.

"He started slowly but he got more confident as the game went on and I thought he did quite well in difficult circustances. Don't forget he hadn't played a full game since November and had only known his team-mates 24 hours.

"I gave him 45 minutes against
Scunthorpe on Tuesday and, again, he did OK. He can be a real nuisance to the opposition and he's willing.

"He's miles away from the finished article but he comes highly recommended and we've been able to nick him from under
Bournemouth's noses."

Of winger Dayton, who set up the equaliser in the reserves 2-2 draw with Huddersfield on Wednesday night, Robins added: "James is a decent player but at the moment he's not someone we will be pursuing."
