Moore seeks full back and other signatures as injuries ease

The Millers boss signed up Callum Kennedy this week until the end of the season and was pleased to keep hold of the Swindon man, but with Danny Coid returning to Blackpool this weekend Moore is still trying to add more faces before the loan deadline despite having Ryan Cresswell and Dale Tonge back from recent injury spells.

"We've been looking", Moore said to Millersplayer, "but we have got Nick Fenton back fit for Chesterfield. If he can go back in at centre-half we can put Johnny Mullins at right-back but I don't really want to move him because he's done ever so well.

"Myself, Graham Brown, Andy Liddell, Andy Dibble and Jimmy Mullen have all been looking this week trying to find a right-back to cover but it's difficult.

"We are always looking to strengthen and if the right player becomes available then I'm sure the Chairman will allow us to bring him in. With the games Kennedy has played on the other flank since Oxford he's been excellent. His use of the ball is good and he's a very attacking minded full-back which is something we will need on Friday night."

Moore also confirmed the situation with Omar Daley, the recalls on his players out on loan at other clubs and that he's trying to sign Liam Henderson on a permanent basis.

"As far as I'm concerned Omar is here until the end of the season and the same thing at the other end with Kevin Ellison (Bradford). Liam reminds me of Alan Lee so much and we are trying our hardest to not only keep him until the end of the season but to actually get him signed up.

"We'll speak to Watford and see what their ideas are and what they are doing with him but I think he's got a great future with loads to work with and I'm looking forward to the challenge with him."

Moore added: "We have a 24 hour recall on Ellison, Pope and Jamie Green should we need them so that's not a problem."
