Eunan O'Kane had put Torquay ahead in the 17th minute but Millers striker Ryan Taylor pounced to secure a point after Adam Le Fondre's earlier penalty had been spectacularly saved by goalkeeper Danny Potter.

Then in the 88th minute Taylor looked to have won it but could only watch as his shot hit the inside of a post and ran along the goalline before being cleared by central defender Guy Branston.

Moore said: "We had them on the ropes and if any side was going to win it I thought it would be us. Unfortunately for us we just could not break when it did fall for us. We`ve had two or three great opportunities in the last five minutes and we have not taken them.

"Their keeper has kept them in it, he's made some fantastic saves. We have hit the bar and a post and their keeper got his fingertips to Ryan Taylor's shot at the end and put it onto the post.

"If that penalty from Adam Le Fondre had gone in I think we would have run away with it. There's no doubt about that, only one side was really going to win it."
