The Millers boss Ronnie Moore was understandably dissapointed after yesterdays home defeat to Ipswich Town. The other resulst in the division did little to boost the Miller survival chances either.

Goalscorer
Moore watched his team go 1-0 up through Chris Sedgwick but failed to capitalise on the good performance they gave in the first half. Town came back in the second and scored a fabulous equiliser, then stole the points in the dying minutes with goals on 88 and 90 minutes.

In the post match press conference Moore said, "It was a wonder goal that got them back in the game, the ball could have hit the clock or gone over the stand – unfortunately for us it went in the net."

When asked about the two penalty claims Ronnie was adamant the foul on John Mullin was a penalty - "the one on John Mullin was a cert there’s no two ways about that. Mullers was away from him, theres no way a center forwards chasing a midfield player going to get a fair tackle in the box on him, and that’s shows when people haven’t played the game and they don’t know what it’s about. It’s cruel when you are down there but I have nothing but pride for the way we played, I’m just gutted with the scoreline because anyone would think we have had a good hiding. but lost the discipline for the second goal and that’s what frustrates me, a point against Ipswich at home isnt a bad result but we were caught out with a little ball over the top of us and the lads gone clean through and scored with 5 minutes to go - thats the cruel part of the game."

"Sedgwick was outstanding today until he ran out of legs, but I thought everybody played well first half, I dont think there was a player who didnt play well, but second half, if you dont take the chances when they come against sides which can kill you then you get whats happened today!. Our crowds probably gone home thinking how the hell have we lost that 3-1, I feel the same and the players are sat in the dressing room with their heads down, I've said that theres no point having your heads down, Lets roll the sleves up and lets go again, If they show the same commitment as they did there, then we'll be alright."

"Theres no fitness worries after the game - only a few broken hearts, but theres no reason to feel down, I cant moan at my lads for lack of effort & commitment"
