Moore plays down Alf to Barnsley link.

"As far as I'm concerned there's nothing in it," Moore told the 'Tiser.

"Even if someone came in with £3 million it would be difficult to let Alfie go at the present time because we have just lost Ryan Taylor to injury and we're down to only two fit strikers. Anyway, I don't see Barnsley being able to come in with a bid like that." he added.

"I'm happy not to have had a phone call about Alfie and the longer my phone doesn't ring the happier I'll be. Every player wants to play at the highest level and we wouldn't want to stand in anyone's way. The opportunity will come for Alfie."

"What he has to concentrate on at the moment is trying to get us out of League Two. His attitude has been spot on in pre-season training and he's come back looking really sharp."

Meanwhile, Moore spoke of his next transfer targets; "Now I'm looking for an experienced striker and a creative player for the middle of the park."

Moore confirmed he has been in talks with Swindon's Craig Easton, who has rejected a new contract with the Robins.
