Moore looking to tighten the defence

Moore';s men are looking for their first home win in nearly two months as they entertain Oxford tomorrow and want to end a run of four home games in two weeks with three points.

"We've been OK going forward but we need to stop leaking goals and get out there and be a Rotherham United team of workaholics and that means giving it some blood, sweat and tears and getting in people's faces," said Ronnie.

Moore then looked back to the 5-2 hammering by Huddersfield in Tuesday nights JPT tie; "We knew it was going to be tough but it's even tougher when you concede after 30 seconds, Whether you're playing a quality side or the Dog and Duck, if you defend the way we did then you're in trouble.

"We were just found wanting at times on our defending and we'll be working on that morning and afternoon because we need to get back to the basics of defending and getting the right shape.

"It was pleasing the way we got back into the game at 1-1 and then Tom Pope had a great chance to go through and make it 2-1 but it's all about things going for you at the right time." he added.
