Moore disappointed at cup exit

Rotherham slumped to their fourth successive home defeat but Moore claimed that the Millers, although comprehensively beaten 3-0, had done enough in the second-half to win the third round tie at Millmoor.

"If we had got one goal we would have gone on to win it," he said.

"We threw caution to the wind, tried and tried, pushed and pushed, but it just did not happen for us.

"The only thing that was missing was the cutting edge. The effort and commitment were there, only the icing on the cake was missing," he added.
