New Caretaker manager Alan Knill today called for all Millers fans to get behind the club and the players before the team face relegation rivals Nottingham Forest.

Knilly told the clubs official website,"We need them to get behind the team as we move forward," said Alan. "I appeal to all our fans to give the lads as much encouragement as possible not just for Saturday's vital game but for the rest of the season."

Meanwhile Millers winger Andy Monkhouse has signed a contract until the end of the season. The 24 year old has previously on a week to week contract after failing to signing a contract offered to him last summer.

In an interview with radio Sheffield Monky said: "I was offered a contract in the summer and I decided not to sign it," said Monkhouse. I've just been getting fit and back into the side... I'm happy playing so I don't see the problem with me staying until the end of the season."
