Teams around us were playing and the results were mixed.
Crewe who beat Stoke 2-0 at Gresty Road thanks to a Kenny Lunt brace, while the Blunts down the road couldnt do us any real favours by only drawing 1-1 with Derby County. Derby equalising from the penalty spot courtesy of a very very dodgy penalty decision.

However Derby pulled out of the relegation spots and are currently on 42 points with us and Notts Forest, but with a worse goal difference of 7.
Sunderland beat Gillingham at the Stadium of Light though, with ex-Rotherham player Darren Byfield scoring the winner for the Black Cats.
Our future is very much still in our own hands, BUT we must start winning... and soon!!
