Millmoor future hangs in the balance

With the delay on the announcement on the seemingly done deal with the Booth family and new owner Tony Stewart to stay at the 101 year-old ground, fans are becoming more concerned that a move to Don Valley Stadium could be a real possibility.

Stewart has been funding the club throughout the month of May as an official exit from administration has yet to be completed, with the club trying to avoid a 15 point hit similar to Leeds United last season.

It's believed Stewart had negotiated a deal to reduce the rent on Millmoor in a new lease agreement that would also see the Booths help to fund minor ground improvements, but a strong silence thusfar has cast speculation over this.

With the new fixtures released on 10th June, a decision has to be made very, very soon, possibly by this weekend, for the club to start its preparations for season ticket sales.
