MillersMad Prediction League....

The basic format will remain the same where every weekend (and sometimes on Bank Holidays etc) 10 fixtures will be selected. Two points will be awarded for predicting a correct result and five points will be awarded for predicting a correct score. In addition, each week a goalscorer will be selected from the teams in that week's fixtures and points awarded for goals scored. 1 goal = 2 points, 2 goals = 5 points, 3 or more goals = 10 points.

One new addition for this season is the prediction 'holiday'. As throughout the 'grind' of 46 games predictors often forget to post their predictions (usually after a heavy Friday night on the pop), any regular predictor who does not post will automatically receive the average score of all predictors for that set of games. Hopefully this will keep more people in with a moderate shout of winning the league.

In order to give BigRich more time to spend on other aspects of the site (and to possibly come up with some prizes for this year's predictors) the admin. of this years league has been entrusted to CAMiller who (being 6,000 miles away) will utilise news.bbc.co.uk as his Oracle for all football related facts and figures.

Watch this space for the first week's fixtures and a tiebreaker to be used at the end of the season if needed to sort out final league positions etc.
