MillersMAD news round-up 2nd October

Last updated : 02 October 2006 By Deano
As the players had today off from their hectic eight game September schedule, gaffer Alan Knill will no doubt be still tearing what hair he has left out after Saturday's capitulation against Millwall. The players are back in tomorrow and Wednesday for full training before having Thursday off, then preparing for Port Vale on Sunday.

Fans are reminded this is a 2pm kick off and everyone can pay on the day.

Things got no better unfortunately on the field as the Juniors lost their 100% record this weekend at Darlington, but they did manage a 2-2 draw with Jamie Yates, who put in an encouraging display in last week's reserves game against Wednesday at Millmoor, and promising striker Zeph Thomas netting to earn a share of the spoils.

Use of the marquees
Finally, as discussed earlier on our messageboard and reported on www.themillers.co.uk, the club are to offer limited available places for main stand season ticket holders to use the marquee bar on matchdays, at a cost of £60 for the rest of the campaign.

The bar is set to open from 1.30pm on home match Saturday's, again at half time and also post match, whilst at evening games the hospitality area is available from 6.30pm.

For further details the club are kindly asking people interested to telephone the commercial department on 01709 512760.
