Millers v Brentford - Match Preview

The Millers will check on defender Kari Arnason ahead of the vital League One clash with Brentford.

The Iceland international suffered a knock in Saturday's 1-0 win at Peterborough and he will be assessed before kick-off at New York Stadium.

Striker Wes Thomas missed out at London Road with a thigh injury, but he is back in contention while Mark Bradley is out for the season with a knee injury.

Rotherham are unbeaten in 13 games but have to beat the second-placed Bees if they are to have any chance of gatecrashing the automatic promotion places.

James Tarkowski returns to the Brentford squad for the trip north.

The defender missed Saturday's 3-1 win over Coventry through suspension after his red card at Leyton Orient the previous weekend.

Boss Mark Warburton must decide whether to reinstate Tarkowski at centre-half or stick with Harley Dean, who has been playing on despite a groin injury recently.

Adam Forshaw dropped to the bench on Saturday to rest a long-standing ankle problem and is set to return in midfield, but winger Sam Saunders is still recovering from knee surgery.
