Millers travel to Hereford first up

The game at Edgar Street will mark Rotherham's first game at this level since May 2000 and will be followed by a home game against Peterborough United with the Carling Cup game against Sheffield Wednesaday sandwiched inbetween. The Millers will continue a testing start to the season when they visit Stockport County on August 25th.

Rotherham will host league newbies Morecambe on October 20th and make a first visit to other new boys Dagenham and Redbridge a week later. Boxing Day sees the Millers make a trip north to Darlington whilst Notts County visit Millmoor three days later.Two former Manchester United players will do battle on New Year's Day as Paul Ince brings his Macclesfield team to Rotherham.

Easter weekend sees a home game against Bradford followed two days later by a trip to Rochdale. The last away game sees the short trip down the M1 to Mansfield and the regular season comes to an end on 3rd May when Rotherham host Barnet.
