"I can confirm that we will be hosting a family day at the New York Stadium during the school holidays in early August," said Steve speaking in his Sunday supplement to the clubs official website.
"This will allow the supporters to watch a full detailed training session, meet all the players and staff and look behind the scenes at what is a magnificent stadium. The supporters here deserve a new stadium, they deserve a quality team to support and they certainly deserve success.
"They now have a fantastic new stadium and I am desperate to bring the other two missing things but I am confident I can do that for them but I will need all the help they can give me.The people in Rotherham have been superb with me since I took the job.
"I want them to play a major part in our success over the next few years, in fact we need all of them to help us achieve our dreams, but together we can do it."
