Millers to appeal deduction??

Last updated : 15 May 2006 By Bigrich.....
Offical notice of the deduction landed at Millmoor last Friday and the club have 7 days to lodge any appeal.

However any appeal will have an up-front expense. Independent accountants will have to look at the club's books and past records of accounts - at the clubs expense, then £5000 has to be deposited with the Football League before the independant hearing will be heard.

"It is a fairly costly process but if there is a glimmer of hope then we will go for it," Paul Douglas told todays Rotherham Star.

"Our lawyers have been spot on with all their advice so far and if they think we have got a case then we will appeal. If we do then it will be on proper grounds and not just as a PR exercise." he added.
