The Millers fended off intrest from Leeds and Luton Town yesterday according to the clubs official site www.themillers.co.uk, it is reported that Luton made 2 bids, one of £100,000 followed by one of £125k plus another £200k in add-ons. However the club felt it was less than the valuation the had put on Williamson.

Speaking to todays Rotherham Star, Alan Knill says that he can now crack on with no uncertainties. "Everyone is delighted that Lee is staying, I regard him as the best midfielder in this division and with the uncertainty now removed, we can all focus on the next step - and that's tonight's game."

"We have to get our minds right and focus on keeping our run going. Results may have picked up but we still have a long way to go, we still must keep clawing those points back."

"Let's keep the good work going, let's keep doing what we're good at. We will have to be aware that Northampton will be looking to bounce back after their midweek defeat." Knill told the Rotherham Star.
