Although Scunthorpe are still rumoured to be interested in Odejayi, the Star reports that Rotherham may have tabled a six figure bid for the targetman.
Rotherham's other target is believed to be a loan transfer from a Premier League outfit.
Assistant John Breckin explained: "We think one is in the bag and hopefully we'll get the other. One is permanent and the other a loan and if the permanent one comes in then it will be quite a big fee."
