Millers second string lose out at Steels

The Millers were three down at the break with a young outfit and a fringe of first teamers on show, managed by assistant Darren Patterson along with coaches Paul Warne and Andy Dibble.

Goals from Dominic Riordan and Matt Telling sandwiched by a Mark Bradley own goal sealed the Millers fate with the home side also missing an early spot kick after a foul by Marcus Marshall.

Team: Annerson, Smith, Foster, Bradley, Hall, Marshall, Royles, Gaughan (Woods 45), Pope, Denton, Rose (Williams 76).

The first team are in action at DVS tonight following their trip to Portugal as they take on Scunthorpe (7.45pm). Prices on the gate are £10 and £5.
