Millers run out victors at Livingston

The evening was another useful test for the Millers squad with big Claude Davis making a return to action after missing the first two pre-season games due to the death of his grandfather.

And following on from two clean sheets against Parkgate and Greenock Morton, the Millers defence yet again proved solid despite boss Steve Evans once again making ten half time changes.

Mark Bradley opened the scoring after 10 minutes as he tapped home new boy Michael Tidser's free-kick following good work by Alex Revell.

Following the half time turnaround the game slowed in pace due to a couple of injuries in the home camp, and also a head injury to young Danny Rowe.

Mitch Rose then doubled the Millers advantage with 15 minutes to go, following up Ben Pringle's cross as he fired in smartly from the edge of the area.

The Millers now turn their attentions to Saturdays game at Somerset Park, where they take on the gaffers former club Ayr United to finish off their week north of the border.

We'll have reaction to this evenings events and further details in the morning..
