Having just one win under their belts from three public non-league friendlies on the road, the Millers line up against a fairly strong Barnsley side tomorrow.

Simon Davey is expected to send his full first team squad with the youth players turning out in their game at Buxton this evening.

Cann
Home boss Mark Robins is expected to start with trialist 'keeper Steve Cann, along with midfielder Kyle Jacobs.

MillersMAD headquarters understands that Cann, 19, who started the 4-2 win at Stocksbridge last Monday and at Burton Albion on Wednesday night will be offered a deal on the table early next week as Robins looks to clinch his 11th summer signing.

Jacobs, on trial from Irish side Bangor, is also looking to secure a permanent move to Millmoor should things go to plan. Elsewhere Marc Joseph may again miss out with a virus which has seen him lose a vast amount of weight, Mark Hudson has an ankle knock and Tom Cahill is still recovering from keyhole kneee surgery.

This is the first of three hme friendlies with Sheffield United coming to town next Tuesday and League One newcomers Hartlepool United next weekend. A youthful Rotherham side will travel to take on Belper Town next Wednesday.

Admission tomorrow is £10 and £5 concessions and as usual with Saturday games a 3pm kick off.
