The meeting for creditors to agree the payouts which according to posts on the messageboard is just 1p in the pound is due for next Friday, just a day before the end of the season.

The decision will no doubt be swayed on Saturdays results, should the Millers win at Colchester and MK Dons lose, the Millers will be safe, however even with the worse case scenario, relegation will not be a certainty. The Millers would have to beat MK Dons at Millmoor a week after to ensure League 1 status for next season.

The 'tiser reports that should the Millers not be safe this weekend, the club will look to adjurn the meeting and give the team the best possible chance of staying up.

Millers cheif operating officer, Paul Douglas told the Advertiser, "The lawyers have been our confidantes and we will meet with them early next week to find the best way forward,"

"We could of course be safe from relegation next week if results go our way this weekend, but equally we might not be. We will make a decision that is best for Rotherham United. It is important not to panic." he added.

Panic, Panic?? lets just hope the lads can do the job on the pitch, while you guys sort out the finances..
