Millers play down Woods roasting article.

The incident is alleged to have taken place while the midfielder was still at Sunderland and speaking to Real Radio, boss Alan Knill played it down and said that the player regrets the situation.

"He's dissapointed and regrets the whole situation and it wasnt while he's been here! While he's been here he's been no trouble at all and I don't forsee him being a problem to me in the future. I think he just wants to get over it and get on playing his football as he's playing well at the moment."

"We tell the players about discipline but at the same time you can't babysit them, when they go away from the football club they have to live thier lives how they live thier lives. Im sure that we probably all done things that we regret, and this is one that Martin definately regrets and will have to learn from." Knill added.

The Millers CEO Paul Douglas told The Sun that the matter was a private issue.
