The midfielder who has shone for the Millers despite a shambolic season for the team is widely rumoured to be a target for other League One and Championship clubs.

Despite the 21 year old signing a 2 year contract last summer, Woods could have a relegation clause in his contract which sould see him leave Millmoor this summer, although this has yet to be confirmed.

Rumours doing the rounds are that Wolves and Forest are both keeping tabs on him.

Woods sat out the defeat at Yeovil with injury but should be fit to play in the final home game of the season this saturday against Cheltenham.

Meanwhile the club are asking supporters not to run onto the pitch at the end of the game, a statement on the clubs official website said; "The club are anxious that no-one suffers any injury and this possibility will be prevented if the supporters remain in their seats at the end of the game and do not run on to the pitch.

"Supporters are reminded that it is a criminal offence to go on the pitch. CCTV and police cameras will be in operation and action will be taken against those who break this rule.

"If supporters comply with this request, then manager Mark Robins will allow the players to return to the pitch to extend their thanks for the fine support they have been given all season."
