Mick Harford has been speaking of his delight at the weekend's results and especially the manner of victory against Oldham. Talking to the club's official site, Harford said: "It was an excellent weekend and the players showed some real character because on Monday we faced a different type of opposition as we had to dig in against set pieces and long throws but the lads did very well."

Meanwhile the club has announced ticketing details for the Carling Cup game against Leeds and the away trip to Nottingham Forest.

The game against Leeds will take place on Tuesday 25th September with a 7.45pm and will be all ticket. Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders on Monday 5th September at 9am and to Membership holders on Thursday 8th September. Remaining tickets will go on sale at 9am on Monday 12th September. Please note that it will be one ticket per season ticket holder due to the reduced capacity at Millmoor. Prices are yet to be announced.

The Nottingham Forest tickets also go on sale next monday and there is an initial allocation of 1000. Prices are as follows:
Adults: £22
Seniors: £17
Juveniles: £10 and £5 (under 10)


The reserves are in action tonight at Blackpool and they feature two trialists in a team that contains a mixture of first teamers and youngsters. Alex Varney makes his bow in a Millers shirt following his switch from Charlton and Nicky Ellis makes his second appearance in central defence.
